Whale Watching

I love whale watching and this was taken off the coast of Cape Cod at the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary on my third whale watching trip.

Stormy Weather.

Whilst we were on our honeymoon driving from LA to Vegas we had to pass through one of the worst storms I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing. Being on an interstate didn't help and at times when we couldn't see the bonnet of the car, let alone the road ahead, I feared for our lives!! This is an arty picture of the eastern edge of it taken from a rest stop. In hindsight we should've stayed there whilst it passed over!

The First Photo

I love photography and always have a camera with me. In this blog I want to share some of my photos. I'm a complete amateur but I like to think I can take a half decent picture.

The first photo was taken on my old Canon SLR. It was captured at about 7am on a crisp August morning at Lake Louise, Canada. It will one day be on a canvas in my house!
